Move over,
ice cream!

The Meadows Original Frozen Custard has been a favorite destination for those looking for the richest, creamiest, and smoothest premium ice cream for almost 70 years! The Meadows of Grovetown owners Bethann and Brandon worked at their hometown Meadows location throughout college, and were still regular customers after they moved on from working at the frozen custard parlor. They even made sure that the first ice cream their children had was frozen custard from The Meadows!

When Bethann and Brandon moved to the Augusta area in 2016, they immediately saw the need and opportunity to bring their favorite frozen dessert to their new home. They are thrilled to bring the Meadows to the growing Grovetown area and they are extremely grateful for the support they have received from the community.

The Meadows of Grovetown is located in the new Gateway Plaza right off of exit 190 on I-20, convenient to all of Grovetown, and surrounding areas including Fort Gordon, Evans, Martinez, Augusta, Harlem, Appling, Thompson, and North Augusta. Where it all started,
the history of the Meadows!

Meadows Original Frozen CustardThe Meadows Original Frozen Custard got its start in the summer of 1950 when J.V., Richard, and Delbert Meadows opened a small custard stand in Duncansville, Pennsylvania.  Lines over fifty people deep formed immediately!  It was an instant success and remains a great success to this day.  Now considered a tourist attraction and featured on The Travel Channel’s Taste of America, the Duncansville location is still in operation and owned by the Meadows family.
